Who we are

Cpncodes.co.uk is operated by CPN Digital, Birger Jarlsgatan 57, 113 56 Stockholm, Sweden. We help visitors find discount codes and deals at online stores. This policy explains what data we process when you visit the site, why, and what rights you have.

What data we process

Visitor statistics. We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as which pages are visited and from which country. Plausible is built for privacy: it uses no cookies, stores no personal data, and never stores your IP address in readable form. All statistics are aggregated and cannot be linked to you.

Our own counters. We count page views and clicks on offers in aggregate to see which stores and codes are popular. These counters contain no personal data.

Server logs. Our infrastructure keeps technical logs (timestamp, request, IP address) for a short period for security and troubleshooting. They are not used to identify individual visitors.

If you contact us. If you email us we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to reply.

Affiliate links

Cpncodes.co.uk is funded through affiliate partnerships. When you click a button such as "Go to store" or reveal a discount code, you are forwarded to the store via an affiliate network: AddRevenue, Adtraction, Awin or Tradedoubler. The network may then place a cookie in your browser on the store's website so the store can see that the purchase came through us and pay us a commission.

We receive aggregated purchase statistics from the networks, such as order value, commission and which code was used. We never receive your name, address or anything else that identifies you as a buyer. The price you pay is never affected by arriving through us.

Legal basis

We process the data above based on legitimate interest (operating, securing and improving the site, and measuring its use at an aggregate level). If we offer newsletters or accounts in the future, that processing will be based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Who we share data with

We never sell data. We use a small number of service providers: Plausible Analytics (analytics, EU), Cloudflare (security and performance) and our EU hosting provider. The affiliate networks above act as independent data controllers once you click through to a store.

Retention

Aggregated statistics are kept without a time limit as they contain no personal data. Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis after a short period. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your matter.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of personal data concerning you, to object to processing, to restriction, and to data portability. Since we process very little personal data there is often nothing we can link to you, but contact us and we will help. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
