Apply the discount code (step by step)
- Build your order on bigdug.co.uk, checking the load rating and dimensions on each shelving or racking page before it goes in the basket.
- Open the basket and run your eye over the delivery band, since the charge drops in steps as the ex VAT total climbs.
- Carry on to checkout and type the voucher code into the discount field before you confirm payment.
- Make sure the reduction appears against the order total, then pick standard, next day or a specified delivery date.
- That's it, the courier handles the heavy lifting.

Yes, you can trim the cost of a BiGDUG order, and the voucher codes that work best are tied to spend thresholds, such as 10% off postal and e-commerce packaging over £100 or a small percentage off baskets of £500 and up. Founded in 2004 and now part of the TAKKT business equipment group, BiGDUG supplies shelving, pallet racking, workbenches, lockers, trolleys and plastic storage boxes to more than 250,000 customers, with standard delivery to mainland GB in two to three working days and free standard delivery once an order passes £1,000 ex VAT. Before you add a promo code, check the Low Price Promise, which matches a published standard price on an identical in-stock item as long as you claim it before ordering; for smaller runs of mailing supplies, Ruffles Packaging is worth comparing, and desk extras are easy to pick up with a voucher code from Ryman.
FAQ
How much does BiGDUG charge for delivery?
Standard delivery to mainland GB starts at £6.95 ex VAT for orders under £50 and rises in bands to £19.95 for orders between £500 and £999.99. Orders over £1,000 ex VAT ship free, and next day delivery starts at £16.95 ex VAT.
Does BiGDUG offer a first order discount?
The current new customer offers are linked to larger baskets: new business customers can get 4% off when they spend £500 or more, and new consumers get 3% off at the same threshold.
Will BiGDUG match a cheaper price?
Yes, the Low Price Promise matches any published standard price for an identical, in-stock product from a comparable UK retailer. You must claim it before you order, and sale prices or marketplace sellers are excluded.
What is the BiGDUG returns policy for business orders?
Businesses need to tell BiGDUG within 30 days of receiving the goods, which must be unused, unassembled and in the original packaging. BiGDUG arranges collection and deducts a combined restocking and collection fee of 20%, and made-to-order or personalised items cannot be returned.
Can businesses buy from BiGDUG on credit?
Yes, there is a BiGDUG Credit application form on the website, and larger business customers can book a free consultation with the Business Solutions team for warehouse or workshop projects.
