The UK's big box electricals retailer
Currys covers the full electricals spread: TVs, laptops and desktops, phones, large kitchen appliances, smart home kit and gaming hardware. Because prices in these categories move constantly, the retailer's own price promise matters as much as any voucher. Currys will match an in-stock product's price before you buy and for up to 7 days afterwards, so a price drop shortly after purchase is recoverable.
Delivery and collection
Standard delivery is free on most orders over £40, while smaller items below that threshold usually carry a fee of around £5. Large appliances are delivered for roughly £15 to £30 depending on the time slot chosen. Small items ordered before 17:00 can qualify for next day delivery, subject to postcode. Click and collect is free at every Currys store and is usually ready from the next day, which sidesteps delivery charges entirely.
Getting the price down
Faulty goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to the manufacturer's warranty terms. On the savings side, offers tend to name a specific range, Windows laptops or a particular watch model for instance, so match the offer to the product rather than the other way round. Pairing a discount with the price promise afterwards is the closest thing to a two step saving at Currys.
For audio, Skullcandy is worth a look, WeBuyAnyPhone.com handles the old handset, and SodaStream covers the kitchen side.
