Apply the discount code (step by step)
- Open machinemart.co.uk and check the current price drops first, several categories carry reductions that beat a percentage code outright.
- Add your items to the basket and note the total weight, delivery is priced by weight and starts at £5.99 including VAT up to 30kg.
- Enter your code in the voucher field in the basket and apply it.
- Compare the total against free click and collect from your nearest superstore, on heavy items that often saves more than the code.
- Check the discount is showing before you pay, then place the order. Job done!

Buying tools without paying list price
Machine Mart discounts tend to be product led rather than basket led, so the useful move is to check the running price drops before you hunt for a code: garage gear, petrol generators, car jacks and modular storage all rotate through reductions worth well over £100 on the larger items. The chain has been trading since 1983 and now runs more than 65 superstores nationwide, with the order line and head office at 211 Lower Parliament Street in Nottingham on 0115 956 5555.
What is on the shelves
The catalogue spans air compressors, welding equipment, generators, water pumps, pressure washers, garage and workshop equipment, wood burning stoves and hand tools. Alongside third party names like DeWalt, Makita, Ryobi and Bosch sit the company's own brands, Clarke and Airmaster, which is where the sharper pricing usually is because there is no distributor margin in the middle.
Delivery, collection and returns
Delivery is charged on weight rather than order value, starting at £5.99 including VAT for orders up to and including 30kg, which matters when you are buying something like a compressor. Click and collect is free and there is a call and collect service for same day pickup from a local superstore, plus next day delivery on stocked lines. Orders can be cancelled within 14 days beginning the day after delivery, with collection arranged by Machine Mart for a fee, and refunds are normally returned to the original payment method within 30 days of the transaction. A printed catalogue can be requested if you would rather browse the range on paper.
If the job also involves kitting out a work vehicle, the shelving systems at Van Racking Online cover the part Machine Mart does not.
FAQ
What does Machine Mart sell?
The range covers power tools and machinery: air compressors, welding equipment, generators, water pumps, pressure washers, garage and workshop equipment, wood burning stoves and hand tools, along with motorcycle and car related gear.
What is the Clarke brand?
Clarke is Machine Mart's own tool brand, sold alongside third party names such as DeWalt, Makita, Ryobi and Bosch. Airmaster is a second own brand used mainly on air equipment.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is calculated on the total weight of the order rather than its value, with a minimum charge of £5.99 including VAT on orders up to and including 30kg. Heavier orders cost more, which is worth checking on bulky machinery.
Is click and collect free?
Yes, click and collect costs nothing and there is also a call and collect service for same day pickup from a local superstore. On heavy items this usually beats paying weight based delivery.
How many Machine Mart stores are there?
There are more than 65 superstores across the UK. The store finder on the site lists stock availability by branch, which is useful before making a trip.
How long do I have to cancel an order?
Orders can be cancelled within 14 days beginning the day after the goods are delivered. Machine Mart will arrange collection of the item, though a charge applies for that.
When will I get a refund?
Refunds are normally issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase within 30 days of the transaction date.
Is there a printed catalogue?
Yes, a catalogue can be requested through the website. It is handy for the machinery ranges where specifications matter more than photographs.
