Sales & promotions at Musto

Kit that came out of an Olympic regatta
Musto was founded in 1964 by Keith Musto OBE, fresh from winning Flying Dutchman silver at the Tokyo Olympics in gear that had not stood up to the conditions. Sailing is still the lead category, with equestrian, shooting and outdoor lifestyle clothing built out from it. The company developed the first three layer clothing system for sailors in 1979 and was granted royal warrants in 2010. That history matters when you shop the sale, because the technical outer layers hold their price and rarely fall as far as the lifestyle pieces.
Delivery, returns and the sale
UK delivery is free on orders over £80, with a £4 charge below that, and UK returns are free of charge. The outlet runs alongside the seasonal sale, and it is where archive stock ends up once a colourway is retired. For the waterproof gloves, socks and hats that go under a smock, Sealskinz is the obvious pairing, and harder wearing boots sit with Cat Footwear.
Standing ways to save
Signing up to the newsletter gets you 15% off a first full price order, which is the strongest route in if you have never bought from the site. Students verified through Student Beans get 10% off, and it is worth checking that before applying a general promo code, since the two do not usually stack. The third route is patience: affiliate exclusive codes tend to attach to summer sale archive stock rather than to new season pieces.
