Teva and the strap sandal

Teva began in 1984 when a Grand Canyon river guide strapped a pair of flip flops to his feet with watch bands, and the sport sandal that came out of it is still the brand's signature. The UK site sells the Originals and Original Universal lines for men and women alongside water shoes, hiking boots and closed toe outdoor footwear, so the catalogue spans everything from a river crossing to a city summer. Because the classic webbing sandals change colourway rather than shape from season to season, last season's colours are genuinely the same shoe, which is what makes the sale section unusually good value here.

Ways to save at Teva

Standard delivery is free once you spend £40 and costs £4.50 below that, a threshold most single sandal purchases sit just under, so pairing a sandal with socks or a second colour often costs less than buying alone. Returns and exchanges are free and paperless for up to 30 days, which takes the risk out of ordering two sizes when you are between fittings. The seasonal sale regularly reaches up to 50 per cent with new lines added through the season rather than all at once, so checking back mid season is more useful than waiting for a single end of season drop. Newsletter subscribers hear about launches and promotions first. For other outdoor footwear look at Cat Footwear, and Saltrock for the rest of a summer kit.
