Apply the discount code (step by step)
- Start at shutters.co.uk and use the measuring guidance before you configure anything, the whole price depends on the numbers you enter.

- Configure the style, full height, café style, tier on tier or shaped, and add it to the basket.
- Go to checkout and enter your discount code in the promo field.
- Check whether the extra percentage has applied on top of the sale price rather than instead of it.
- Delivery is free on every order, so the shipping line should be zero.

DIY shutters, measured and fitted by you
The Shutter Store has sold made to measure window shutters since 2014 from its base in Brighton, and the business model is what keeps the prices down: you measure, the shutters are built to those measurements, and you fit them yourself, so there is no surveyor or installer built into the quote. Ranges cover faux wood and hardwood, in the usual full height, café style, tier on tier and shaped configurations.
Lead times, guarantee and the seasonal deadline
Faux wood shutters are among the fastest made to measure products in the UK, turned around in a matter of days rather than weeks, while hardwood takes longer, which is why the shop publishes a cut-off date each autumn for pre-Christmas delivery. Every made to measure order carries a 10 year guarantee. If measuring makes you nervous, the specialists answer by email and will look at your window photographs to show you exactly where to measure, which is worth doing before you order rather than after.
How to buy well
Shipping is free on every order, so there is no threshold to chase. The reductions are percentage-led and stack in a specific order: a headline seasonal event, often 40 to 55 per cent off a named range, plus a smaller extra 5 per cent across all shutter ranges. A discount code is therefore worth applying even when a sale looks generous, because the extra percentage frequently applies on top. Samples are the other thing to sort early, since shutter colours read very differently against your own walls. For the rest of the room, Furniture Life covers the furnishing side.
