What the Twinings Teashop sells
The Twinings Teashop is the brand's own online shop, and it goes well beyond the boxes you find in a supermarket aisle: loose leaf blends, larger caddies, seasonal and limited edition teas, infusions, teaware and gift sets built around them. Twinings has been selling tea from 216 Strand in London since 1706, and the shop still leans on that range depth rather than on constant discounting, so a voucher code is usually the difference between a normal order and a good one.
Ways to save at Twinings
Standard UK delivery is free once an order passes £35, and £3.95 below that, with express delivery at £6.95 if you need it quickly. Orders are dispatched within two working days and typically arrive three to five working days after ordering, so gift orders want a little lead time. Students get 5 percent off through the usual student verification services, and signing up to the Twinings emails is how sale events and new blend launches reach you first. Because delivery turns free at £35, the practical move is to combine a discount code with a caddy or gift set that lifts the basket over the line instead of paying £3.95 twice.
If the order is really about the wider drinks shelf, Illy covers coffee and the Coffee Bean Shop is worth a look for beans.
FAQ
How much is delivery at the Twinings Teashop?
Standard UK delivery is £3.95 and becomes free once your order reaches £35. Express UK delivery costs £6.95 if you need the tea sooner.
How long does a Twinings order take to arrive?
Orders are dispatched within two working days and usually arrive three to five working days after you place them, so allow extra time if the order is a gift for a set date.
Does Twinings offer a student discount?
Yes. Students can claim 5 percent off orders after verifying through a student discount service, and it applies to the online teashop rather than supermarket stock.
What can I buy at the Teashop that supermarkets do not stock?
The online teashop carries loose leaf blends, larger caddies, limited edition and seasonal teas, teaware and gift sets, which is a much wider range than the boxed everyday blends sold in grocery stores.
How old is Twinings?
Twinings has been trading tea from 216 Strand in London since 1706, which makes the Strand shop one of the longest running businesses at the same address in the country.
Can I use a Twinings promo code on gift sets?
Most codes work across the shop including gift sets, but limited edition and already reduced lines are sometimes excluded. The basket total is the quickest check, apply the code and see whether it moves.
