Delivery and returns

Standard delivery is free on orders over £30 and £3.99 below that, arriving in roughly 2 to 3 working days. Click and collect is free over £30, with more than 17,000 Post Office and Collect+ pick-up points nationwide, and an InPost locker option costs £4.99 with a 10pm cutoff for next day arrival between 7am and 9pm. Returns run on a 28 day approval guarantee and are free by CollectPlus, Post Office or home collection, provided items come back complete, unused and with any security tags intact.

Where the savings actually are

Very Pay is the retailer's own flexible credit facility, with a representative APR of 44.9% variable. Spreading a payment is convenient but not cheap, and on a discounted item the interest can easily outweigh the saving. Discounts here tend to be brand or category specific rather than sitewide, so check the named brand before building a basket around one. On a small order, pushing past £30 to clear the delivery charge is often the simplest win.
